A Day In The Life
A day in the life...
My day starts at 6.30 when my alarm goes off. It’s the same time as I got up in Year 6 so I am used to it, but I for many of you it may be much earlier than you get up at the moment! Yawn!!
My driver brings my sister and I to school, ( she is in Year 11) and it takes about 20 minutes. Usually I watch videos to relax in the car as I know I will have to be alert and ready when I arrive!
By the time time I get to school, some of my friends are already here, so I get a chance to chat to them before my form time starts at 7.50am.
The bell rings for the start of form time and this is the time when our form tutor, Mrs Wardle talks to us about the activities taking place that week and things to remember. We also do quizzes once a week in our house teams and on Monday’s we have assembly.
Then is the first period of the day. It’s important you reach class before the second bell, so I make sure that I have all of my bags and set off. I can have a big mix of classes all day from science to Languages but P.E is my favourite. At break, I usually play and chat to my friends outside if the weather is cool or inside in my form room when it is hot. I don’t usually go to the tuck shop, as my mum makes me a tasty lunch, which I much prefer!
After period 5,6,7 and 8 it's time to go home so I meet my sister and my driver at the front of the school, in the same place everyday and go home to relax! Phew!!.
